1. Period

The challenge runs from 18 September 2026, 00:00 CEST (17 September, 22:00 UTC) to 1 October 2026, 23:59 CEST (1 October, 21:59 UTC). The time the score reaches the Steam leaderboard is decisive. Results arriving later are not considered.

2. Eligibility

Open to individuals aged 18 or over. Minors may take part with the consent of a parent or guardian. Entry is permitted only where the law of your country of residence allows it.

Members of Confined Space Crew GbR and their families may play but are excluded from the draw.

3. How to enter

Play the Confined Space – Module Madness demo on Steam in Challenge mode and set a score on the Challenge Highscores leaderboard during the period. Entry is free, the demo is free. No purchase necessary. A Steam account is required; Steam’s own terms apply to it.

Entry is only possible via Steam. Results from the itch.io build of the demo are not recorded and do not take part.

The in-game score counts – not waves cleared or time survived. Only your best result per Steam account counts; Steam keeps only that on the leaderboard anyway. Play as often as you like – it can only improve your entry. One Steam account per person.

Challenge mode is available during the entry period only.

4. Prizes

Three prizes are drawn. Each consists of

No cash alternative, no exchange, non-transferable.

5. Draw

After the period ends, three winners are drawn at random from the top 20 leaderboard entries. Position within the top 20 does not affect the odds. The draw takes place on 2 October 2026, is streamed live on the organiser’s Discord server and recorded.

6. Notification

The drawn leaderboard names are announced publicly on 2 October 2026 via the Steam announcement, Discord and the organiser’s social media channels. By entering, you agree that your leaderboard name may be named there if you win.

Winners must come forward within 14 days of the announcement at info@confined-space.de or on the organiser’s Discord and identify themselves through the Steam profile named on the leaderboard. If no one comes forward within that time, the claim lapses and another name is drawn from the remaining top 20.

7. Data protection

No personal data is collected to take part. Only the information Steam displays publicly on the leaderboard is processed (display name, score, loadout, time played).

Contact details supplied by winners are used solely to deliver the prize and deleted no later than three months after the challenge closes – for keys issued with the full game, no later than three months after its launch. They are not passed on to third parties.

8. Disqualification

The organiser may exclude entrants who use unauthorised tools (cheats, modified game builds, memory or file manipulation, external automation), manipulate scores, deliberately exploit bugs to gain score, or breach these terms. Manipulated entries are removed from the leaderboard. Prizes already awarded may be reclaimed in such cases.

9. Changes and early termination

The organiser may cancel, suspend or amend the challenge for good cause – in particular if a technical fault, a Steam leaderboard outage or manipulation prevents proper operation. Prizes already drawn remain valid.

10. Liability

The organiser is not liable for technical disruptions, in particular outages or errors of Steam, the leaderboard or internet connections, nor for results that fail to arrive or arrive late as a result. Otherwise the organiser is liable only for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health.

11. No platform affiliation

This challenge is not associated with, sponsored, endorsed or administered by Valve/Steam, Meta/Instagram, TikTok, Google/YouTube, Discord, Mastodon or Bluesky. These platforms are not a point of contact for it. Steam is a trademark of Valve Corporation.

12. Law

Legal recourse is excluded. German law applies.
